Rebecca’s love for dance started at the young age of three years. Training in Hamilton, Ontario Rebecca trained hard and was a highly competitive dancer by the age of seven. She moved to a studio in Oakville to train at a higher level and was awarded with numerous awards at competitions including scholarships, titles and overall awards.
Trained in all dance forms Rebecca is an accomplished dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She has had a successful five year career as a choreographer thus far, sharing her love for dance on and off the stage. Her ballet training includes both R.A.D. and Cecchetti levels. Rebecca’s love for the stage is evident in choreography reels and pictures from her years of competing. 


Rebecca is now working at an accounting firm as a consultant and is pursuing her certified professional accountancy designation. However, her passion for dance has kept her as a choreographer and inspiration for younger children.

Georene Cea began dancing at the age of 2, and made her stage debut as Pebbles from the Flintstones. Georene grew up dancing at Rising Star Performing Arts and taught there for 20 years. Georene danced competitively in jazz, tap, ballet, modern, lyrical and musical theatre. Georene competed in B.C at the Canadian National Dance Championships and won 1st overall for her tap solo. With performing being her true passion she studied in Toronto at the Randolph School of Performing Arts. There she studied various styles of dance, vocal, acting and stage combat. She trained with Linda Garneau, Faye Rauw, and Shawn Byfield to name a few.

Georene competed at the World Tap Championships in Riesa, Germany with the Canadian National Tap Team twice bringing home the bronze and silver and taking 6th place for her tap duet, as well as competing for the Showdance team and winning bronze. Many of Georene's students have gone on to also compete at the World Tap Championships bringing home the Gold.

As a teacher Georene's students have won many overall awards and scholarships, and as a choreographer she has been awarded top choreography numerous times. Georene can also be seen dancing in the movie "Honey" starring Jessica Alba, and the Bollywood film "Hero". As well as a music video for The Boomtang Boys. Georene continues to study and train, recently taking workshops from Everett Smith, Sho Tyme, and Liz Imperio to name a few. Georene is also a member of the PAA, Professional Adjudicator's Alliance.

Taylors passion for dance began at the age of 3, with a primary focus on ballet and acrobatics. Since then she has trained in various styles such as ballet, acro, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. She danced competitively throughout her career winning many awards and scholarships. After finishing highschool she continued her dance education graduating from George Brown college and university of Toronto, while studying with Ballet Jorgen and the National Ballet of Canada. She then went off to pursue her passion for teaching and completed her acrobatic arts module 1&2 as well as her dance masters of America training in Ballet, Jazz, and acro. She has been teaching in the GTA and BC for 8 years and loves to share her passion with her students!

GEORENE PERRON-CEA

Lindsay began her dance training at 4 years old, and she couldn’t imagine a life without dancing! Starting with just ballet, she quickly expanded her training to include various dance styles at both the recreational and competitive level. She successfully passed CDTA (Canadian Dance Teachers Association) examinations in ballet and jazz, and she was blessed with opportunities to perform and compete in dance across Ontario and the United States. 

Lindsay began teaching in her late-teen years and hasn’t stopped since! While at university receiving her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree, she continued to dance and teach at various studios.  She started her career teaching Anatomy and Physiology at Seneca College for the Nursing Program, but her true passion for dance called and in 2010, Lindsay opened her own dance studio, Impulse Performance Arts Inc. As a former Studio Director, Lindsay grew her studio to be a busy, successful, and positive space for dancers to learn and call home. Her choreography has won numerous awards and high marks; and her students are often recipients of overall and studio spirit awards.  

Lindsay is very active in the industry, participating in dance costume catalogue photography and taking courses to constantly update her dance education. As a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance, Lindsay also looks forward to sharing her knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm from the judging chair!

STUDIO DIRECTOR

JADEN RUICCI (She/Her)

Jaden began dancing at the age of 8. During her years as a dancer, Jaden trained in a variety of styles including hip hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, musical theatre, and tap. Jaden has always loved the arts and also took part in a number of musical theatre productions alongside competitive dancing. 


Jaden completed her bachelors degree in psychology and sociology before pursuing her diploma in Child in Youth Care. Jaden has a passion for teaching and working with youth and has been teaching dance with Impulse as a recreational and competitive dance instructor since 2022 teaching hip hop, jazz, acro, contemporary, ballet, creative dance, and musical theatre. 

Dani comes from a strict gymnastics background. Competing provincially she trained under Nick Moscu and later Cristina Bontas, Romanian Olympic medalists. She switched to dance at age 12 and soon flourished as a strong dancer. She competed in various types of dance including Acro, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. Dani started teaching at the age of 14 when given the opportunity in her home studio. 

Priding herself on proper technique, stretching and muscle conditioning, she raises strong tumblers, acrobats and dancers who have stood out at competition.

After stepping down from 14 years of studio ownership, Dani is now a sought after instructor and choreographer. She loves to share her knowledge and passion with her dancers!

Emily began her dance training at age 3, and has since trained in various styles including jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre, pointe, lyrical, and contemporary. She was a teaching assistant for 6 years before she started her journey as a teacher. In 2022 she became the Assistant Studio Director and Competitive Program Director at Impulse Performance Arts. Emily is now the sole Owner & Director of Impulse Performance Arts Inc. and is proud to continue growing the dance studio she grew up in! 

Emily has an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University. She loves to incorporate her knowledge of human movement, anatomy and sport psychology into her classes. She is a member of the CDTA (Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association) for Ballet, a certified Progressing Ballet Technique Teacher, and a member of Healthy Dancer Canada. She has and continues, to attend a variety of courses including The Dance Movement Analyst, and The Confident Dancer Summit. Emily is an SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) Arts & Culture graduate from Glendale Secondary School’s Performing Arts program, where she helped choreograph three of the program’s Broadway Musicals. Since graduating, Emily has returned to the Arts program as a guest choreographer. In 2017, Emily choreographed a ballet piece for the HPO (Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra) production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ She has taken various classes with dance professionals such as Kaeja d’Dance contemporary dance company, and numerous Broadway performers both at school and in New York City. Choreographing dances for the competitive stage at multiple studios and schools, Emily has won many awards with her dancers.
