MISS JULIE MAE
Miss Julie Mae began dancing at age 4 and grew up taking classes in ballet, jazz, and hip hop. After taking a year off of dance at the age of 11, she realized her true passion was hip hop. She poured her heart into hip hop dance and through the years, she won various special and overall awards at both Canadian and American competitions.
Miss Julie Mae has retired from competitive dancing but is still very active in the dance community. She is a part of The ARTillery, a local dance crew that placed 3rd in The 2016 Beatdown Hip Hop Competition.
After substituting some hip hop classes, Miss Julie Mae was asked to take over the Impulse hip hop program in 2015. She has fallen in love with the Impulse dance family and she finds that teaching motivates and increases her love for dance. Miss Julie Mae wishes to inspire her students and continue to grow as a choreographer.
