Paula Ruddy - Teacher

Paula discovered her life long passion for dance at the age of three and has never looked back. Raised in Brampton, she began her training in ballet but quickly discovered a love for tap, and jazz.  Her training allowed her to attend an Arts program in high school, where she continued her focus in dance. Since then, her dance career has included local and international competitions in both Canada and the United States.

Paula has completed exam work with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association and  the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance.  She has been fortunate enough to train with many well known studios in Brampton and Mississauga.  More recently, she has continued her education as a competitive adult dancer here in Hamilton, and attends workshops when she can. As an instructor, Paula has had the delight of teaching all ages and has found each age group to bring something exciting and different to the classroom. She has been fortunate enough to prepare students for examinations, competitions and recital opportunities.

Paula strives to bring out the best in her students teaching confidence, determination, grace and teamwork.  She is excited to share her love and passion for dance with the entire Impulse Performance Arts family.
